I am a third year university student and I am in the arts program with the desire to apply to the education program in the spring of 2018. History is my major and will be considered my teachable subject as I move into the education program. I took this course because the title of History of Childhood and Education, seemed especially interesting and useful information for my further studies as well as career. I learned quite a bit about the development in understanding the complex stage of life, known as childhood. There was also a lot of information about how the education system has become what it is now. The course material was valuable to me and I look forward to taking it with me into my future endeavours.
